All the food was incredibly tasty and reasonably-priced. The service was friendly and not rushed. I particularly recommend the eggplant with honey! Price per person: €30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We dined at Bouchon a couple of weeks ago. Last Wednesday (20 September), we enjoyed a wonderful meal at the Waterside Inn in Bray. This evening, we enjoyed another meal experience (our third visit) at Palosanto in Barcelona’s Plaza George Orwell. No Michelin stars, but entirely enjoyable with the ceviche and butarra dishes simply outstanding and well supported by the olives, patatas bravas, squid and tomato bread from the tapas menu. The olive oil they use is exquisite. Underpinning everything is relaxed, friendly and informed staff, who guided our initial food and wine selections, to our total satisfaction. From Deb Danny, thank you so much to Candle and Luca for making us feel welcome and looking after us Our future travel plans will surely include Barcelona, such has been the impression the city and people have made on us (Deb would like an 3 month to share here). We look forward to visiting palosanto again. It’s certainly worth including on your list.

We came here twice because it was close to our hotel in a lively placa (George Orwell). The first time I had the bravas and tomato bread, which were both my favorite that I had while in Barcelona and the main reason we returned, along with the iberica ham. However, the second time we went, the service was very poor. The primary waitress basically ignored us while we sat there and we were not able to order until we chased down someone else 20 minutes or so after we sat down.
