Lovely dinner in a romantic setting. Delicious and unusual dishes: turkey terraine, roasted **** (chicken) in pastry, grilled dorado (whole fish) with noodles, salmon burger. Wonderful appetizers of ham with toast and salad, melon and buratta, and crystal bread with onions and spices. Great red wine -romantic- in it 's name under 17 euros- wonderful special dessert cake!
Charming, romantic atmosphere with an inventive menu. Surprised the reviews are so mixed. Our first courses were very good, esp the melon salad with pink peppercorns and cheese. Both second courses also very good, mine was a steak filet with chocolate sauce, what a great idea! Hubby's was grandmoms melt in your mouth veal both with very tasty mashed potatoes. With dessert and a bottle of wine for 85 euro, quite reasonable.
Excellent food, this was a great find. The starter courses were large and had good variety. A few of us had the beef stew for main. I had oxtail which was very good. My wife had the cod also very good. Need to come back here again.
Just got back from a 3 day trip with a friend and this was the (only) low point. I 've visited Barcelona several times and there are many, many lovely places to eat; this is not one of them. The food did not remotely live up to its description on the menu. 16 Euros for a 'carpaccio ' of mushroom, mango and tomato turned out to be 3 slices of soggy white bread topped with said items. That 's it. Another 16 Euros for sliced duck breast drowned in something which must surely have come from a jar, no vegetables, no salad nothing to accompany it, and barely hot. Ugh. Surly waiter, who believe it or not sat next to us to consume his supper before clearing our plates. One bottle of white wine, one bottle of water. Bill for 90 Euros. Dismal. I 'm ashamed to say, they saw us coming. Never agian though!
