Besides they charged double the price as in this area. We ordered a seafood plate and a paella, total costed €234 and the waiter asked for another 10% service charge , I refused to pay the extra. ! Don’t ever go for this No. 45! It will ruin your holiday . This kind of restaurant should be get rid off in Barcelona. Shame on Barcelona.

Begged to get served. Food service was slow and upon arrival was cold. Then MICROWAVED after request to be served hot. Staff messing about on mobile phones and iPad and taking hot chips for each other on way to deliver to table. Hands in a customer’s food is disgusting. Staff completely carefree. We didn’t eat the reheated food after watching server put fingers in to test the temperature. Should have gone back to anywhere in Via de Garcia where the locals eat. Awful.

I know most people owning, running and working in restaurants are extremely hard working and take great pride in their work. Our experience at Kubic was well below average compared to other restaurants in the area. We’ve been to Barcelona twice and love it here. The food was basic and had no flavor. I ordered a Coca Cola and got a flat Pepsi for 9.50. I requested lettuce and tomato added to a sandwich. I only got a few minced tomato pieces and no lettuce. The server acted as if he could not understand us even though we spoke Spanish and English fluently. My wife asked for a croissant and he replied you mean “croissant” with a French accent. The croissant came to the table burned. I know some speak Catalan here but most people speak both in Barcelona so I don’t think that was the problem. We plan to return to Barcelona again, but we will skip this one next time.

Please read the other reviews and avoid this place. It was not a good experience.

Server and cashier working today are doing a disservice to this establishment. Rude is an understatement. Instead pop into Forns Del Pi where they have great coffee and pastries and service is outstanding. Only a short walk away from Kubik.
