But to put the cherry on top my husband organised a secret birthday breakfast for me and the two ladies who were in charge today, Pilar and Ana, have been so lovely they even drew me a beautiful birthday message and handwritten a card on top of cava and first class breakfast!! Friendly staff, great service... read more My vacation here at Hotel 1898 has been wonderful. Great location in walking distance to many of Barcelona’s historic attractions. Friendly staff, great service and ambiance. Beautiful pool spa. The rooftop bar is open late, and the food is well prepared and delicious. The hotel is conveniently located on La Ramba near a dizzying airy of gift shops and restaurants. High highly recommend it.
