Eyder Cesar at the lobby bar made us feel like we were at home with their genuine kindness and amazing service. Incredibly friendly, accommodating, and gave us the best recommendations for food and drinks around the city. When visiting Barcelona, we will always stay here! Mil gracias.

Very clean, location brilliant just off of La Ramblas and the breakfast was very varied and fresh. Would definitely return on any future trips to Barcelona.

Friendly staff, great service... read more My vacation here at Hotel 1898 has been wonderful. Great location in walking distance to many of Barcelona’s historic attractions. Friendly staff, great service and ambiance. Beautiful pool spa. The rooftop bar is open late, and the food is well prepared and delicious. The hotel is conveniently located on La Ramba near a dizzying airy of gift shops and restaurants. High highly recommend it.
