Free to take coffee, tea, fruit and the like throughout the day.... read more Nice guesthouse and very nice and helpful staff. There are 8 rooms and breakfast each morning. Free to take coffee, tea, fruit and the like throughout the day. Our room had a balcony overlooking a busy street, noisy to sit there. Centrally located, close to many attractions and we were able to walk on foot during our visit to Barcelona

Had there not been a very strong smell... read more I feel the need to iterate that this low score is a reflection of the room only and not the fantastic staff at the hotel. Had there not been a very strong smell of damp in our room, the score would have been a lot higher. There wasn't really adequate natural light, adequate ventilation or even somewhere to hang out wet towels after use. The bed slanted down and to the right and the remote control for the TV had a mind of its own. I also killed an enormous cockroach that was crawling down the front door, which thankfully my girlfriend didn't see! But the staff, and the breakfast, and the service was top notch.
