I had a bag with valuables with... read more This last Monday, August 30th 2021 at 20:30h we arrived at the bar to have a beer before having dinner with a group of friends. I had a bag with valuables with me, which was stolen from the table while I went to the bathroom. At the bar there are at least 6 security cameras (which in itself is a great indicator of the security of the place and no employee gave us any support to find out who had stolen, indicating that they needed to talk to the Owner/Manager, the Mrs. Silvia, and that only she had access to the cameras, according to the person in charge of the moment. The guy in charge at the time from Ecuador, but I, unfortunately, did not get his name, told us he couldn 't call her at the time but had sent a message (how are you not allowed to call the owner after having had a robbery inside the establishment? I said I was going out for dinner and would come back before closing to find out what the response from the Owner/Manager Silvia was. We came back and this lady was there, she clearly already knew what had happened and immediately went into the kitchen. She came back a moment later and said that she would show us absolutely nothing from the camera, that we had no right to see anything and that we wanted to know, we had to get the police. Then she contradicted herself a minute later, saying that she didn 't have access to the cameras and on top of that she refused to give her name when I asked (my mate heard it from the other bartender . The lady even had the courage to say that something similar had happened to her at a McDonalds and that nothing was resolved. When I asked her if she thinks this is fair, her response was, And who still believes in justice? We believe that possibly it was one of the employees of the establishment that robbed me (again, there are at least 6 security cameras in the place! and obviously, I will never recover my possessions. However, I can 't leave it like this and I am here to warn anybody, don 't ever step in this bar CAN EUSEBIO our horrible experience in this bar and the total indifference from Silvia, manager/owner of the place and of all employees of the establishment is unacceptable. How can you show no interest in helping a customer who was robbed inside the bar itself, is beyond me and any good responsible management. It ruined my trip and I hope this does not happen to anybody else visiting Barcelona.
