Their “South of the Loire” concept is made for anyone who wants to escape busy Nantes to enjoy some first-class food in the peaceful and relaxing countryside. The interior decor is industrial style: neutral, simple, tasteful, open and uncluttered. The space is also used to display the works of local artists. Dishes are artfully presented, creative and tasty with the added and welcomed surprise of being very reasonable despite the high quality of the locally sourced ingredients and skilful gourmet preparation. At the time this was written, a three-course lunch was EUR 14 and a three-course weekend dinner EUR 26, not counting beverage.To dine this well in Nantes, the prices would be much higher. There is a good selection of wines, beer, liquor and non-alcoholic beverages to accompany your meal, including some house digestifs created by the restaurant.
