Great museum with valuable documents, manuscripts ang artefacts it is once legendary Sri Prasanth Chandra Mahalonobis home, converted into museum. We can witness starting of Indian economy in its condition at its infancy after Independence. The starting of five year plan and the first sampling survey documentation. Really it very good place to see the history of indian economy.

A well maintained house of the Great Indian Statistician Prashanta Chandra Mahalanobis and Rani Mahalanobis amidst a lot of mango trees thus the name Amrapali. Calm Green place his Lucrative house, his and Rani's closet. Their dining, reading room everything is indeed jaw dropping to see. So Vogue they were in, you do need to look into the lifestyle of our India's Industrial Evolution idea giver, after Independence. Please to visit, you are really gonna love it!!!!

It's the resistance of the late Professor Peasant Chandra Mahalanobis. Now it is kept as a museum. One can learn a significant amount of history regarding the Bengali culture though this museum. It's the place where one can lean about Professor Mahalanobis.
