What a grand deception. It has a laid back atmosphere, which I like. Although I did miss some music in the background. The waiters are polite, friendly. But the FOOD: what a deception! We ordered a risotto seafood with parmiggiano and a plate of Asian style veal and vegetables with soy sauce and Asian herbs. What we got was: a plate of plane boiled rice, mixed with canned tomato!! lots of tiny mussels though. We told the waiter that this was not Risotto but he replied: Well that 's just the way we serve it. The Asian veal platter with vegetables was soaked in sunflower oil an the plate had some balsamic splatters to try to enhance the pieces of meat and courgette floating in it. There was absolutely not even a whiff of Asian herbs or soy sauce to be detected. Is this a case of a terrible cook or a deceptive manager? Please take risotto and 'Asian spices ' off the menu because you seriously do not know, what risotto is, or how Asian food tastes like! Please be honest and correct your menu to: cooked rice in canned tomato sauce. Strips of veal in sunflower oil and balsamic vinegar.

We had breakfast at the Forest restaurant for three days in a row. The location is beautiful, right by the sea, making it a great spot to enjoy the view while you eat. However, the service has its drawbacks. The food takes quite a while to arrive, though drinks are served quickly. The staff sometimes mix up the orders or get them wrong, but they are polite and correct any mistakes without fuss. The pizza and pancakes are particularly tasty, and the portion sizes are generous. One thing we didn’t like was the tap water they serve—it didn’t taste great. Also, when it’s windy, sand and dust can blow into your food while sitting outside. We also tried the priganice, which were a bit too firm, but still tasty. However, we’ve had better priganice at other places. Another thing to keep in mind is that the card machine often doesn’t work, so you might need to pay in cash. It’s a common issue in Montenegro, but still worth noting.
