Two menu... read more Wandering through the streets of Banyoles, we came across this restaurant. Run by a woman and her son, they were very attentive from the first moment. Two menu of the day in which we ate some ravioli as a starter, a Moorish skewer and a stew as a second that left us with a very good taste in our mouths! The place was very clean. A place to keep in mind for future visits to the city!!

This is a bar with a very good restaurant attached, recently refurbished and done to a high modern standard. We had a set menu chosen for us by John and we started with mixed salads, one with goats cheese, the other with olives, which were huge and very tasty. Main course was a mixed fish/seafood platter which was simple and bursting with the taste of the sea. I skipped pudding on the basis that I was on the verge of bursting, but my wife took one for the team and just about managed to finish a very chocolaty chocolate cake; from my one mouthful it was pretty good but I couldn't have eaten a full portion. Definitely worth a visit to eat, but to drink I have a very different bar, just round the corner, to recommend in a separate review.
