The bar area was roomy, warm... read more My daughter and I just left the Mockingbird Kitchen Bar, on this beautiful late winter Sunday afternoon, after a delightful dinner. The bar area was roomy, warm and inviting while the overall ambiance of the dining room was amazing, stunning according to Kelsey, with a fabulous blazing wood fire. The unique rotating daily menu is clever as it allows spontaneous new culinary creations. Fortunately, we were not overwhelmed with dozens of menu choices and had already selected two different meals from their online menu before arriving. The wait staff were friendly, kind and made you feel welcome. The drinks were fairly priced and well made and we are still talking about the excellent bread and olive oil that satisfied our travel weary hunger pangs. It might not be on the menu next Sunday but the Pappardelle Bolognese and Linguine Carbonara were perfect and are well worth the wait for the next their next appearance. I wanted to stuff myself with my last portion but putting gluttony aside I can now enjoy it tomorrow night as well. Kelsey rated the take out Tiramisu as a *10* and after the small sample she offered me I agree it is the best that I have ever had. Thanks again for allowing us to enjoy your company and fine food. Everything is... read more The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxed. The waitstaff are very friendly, and the brunch burgers are absolutely delicious. Everything is made in-house, including the ketchup, fries, mayonnaise, and patties. Be sure to dine there and save room for dessert at Arethusa!
