Top Notch BBQed pork and other ducks. Very friendly and great service. I like this place because the majority of food is made to order. It's worth waiting. They won't be missed. 5 stars for Wood's Pit BBQ in Bantam, CT.
This place is fantastic! High quality food, friendly staff and a wonderful view of the ride here. The chicken wings are smoked, then fried undersown, they are a must-meeting meeting. I love the hot honey taste, but all are good. The BBQ offers are excellent and so is the Mexican food!
Wasn't good, the brisket was ok. The keilbasa was ok. The potato salad was gross, fries were soggy, baked beans were sour tasting. The BBQ sauce wasn't that good. Wasn't worth the drive from Stratford. We went there after an article claimed it was the best BBQ in Connecticut. I'm not big on giving bad reviews but when there's an article claiming it's the best, and that's why we went, it was very disappointing. Should have tried the Mexican food instead.
This combo restaurant of half Mexican food and half BBQ is average. The salsa tastes like marinara sauce. Margaritas were very limey but alright. Try the BBQ food, much better!
Best wings around. Was pleasantly surprised at the Smoky flavor. Getting the extra crispy is perfect. The BBQ is great. The Mexican is OK.
