Slightly pricier than average but well worth the extra for the superior quality of starters, mains and deserts. Service is professional though not fast. This fine place operates only during ski season (Dec-Apr).

The resturant was crowded with peop... read more I had dinner at this restaurant last weekend and we did go there because of the good evaluations at TRIP ADVISOR and Google. The resturant was crowded with people and it was surpising that thre was only one server to attend all these customers. The result was a rather slow service on every course of our meal. I am willing to pass by that since it was a busy weekend.. However, what was rather disturbing was the fact that one of the orders (t bone steak) was unacceptable. The steak was strongly recommended by the one and only server and we got 2 orders of t-bone steak (among with other steaks) which were spoiled. These were supposed to be dry-aged black angus steaks (the scond most expensive steak in the menu) and they had a rather disturbing odor like there not properly aged nad starting rotting or not properly refrigerated. I do not wish to assume that they were pushing this steak because of that.I have called the server and told him about this but he acted like he had not understanding because of language barrier.It is unfortunate because this is a really expensive restaurant, when compared with the average Bansko restaurant, and to end up having spoiled meat is something that the potential customers should know about.To be fair to the business, the other steaks we ordered were all very good.
