Cafe Dibi - Bankstown
Cafe Dibi
Description
Nestled in the heart of the city, this café boasts an extensive menu that has garnered mixed reviews. While patrons rave about its rich Vittoria coffee and appealing ambiance, frustrations arise over inconsistent food quality and sluggish service. Dishes like the dry bolognese and unappetizing breakfast items leave diners disappointed, with some even encountering moldy sauces. Despite these setbacks, many hold out hope for a return visit, drawn by the café’s stellar coffee and positive reputation. It appears this eatery may still have potential, but improvements in food consistency and customer service are crucial for a better dining experience.

I come from Italian heritage and am known as a "coffee snob". This is one of the few cafes in Sydney that has the good taste to serve Vittoria coffee! The barista was very friendly and made my coffee just the way I like it (large with 2 sugars and extra hot). Highly recommended!
The staff at this restaurant are extremely rude, making it the worst customer service experience I have ever had in the industry. It seems like the only reason they get customers is because of their convenient location.
Young waitress friendly. Staff friendly. Coffee ok. Ordered Eggs Benedict only problem was the hollandaise tastes like a mix from the packet jar but fresh. Price average. Location good. Family friendly. Wheelchair accessible. Take away available.. indoor and outdoor undercover seating available.
Although i have visited this cafe several times i am always left very disappointed. Coffee quality is deplorable and always ALWAYS check your receipt as they often charge for items you have not ordered. I ordered 2 coffees and 2 cakes but was also...charged for schnitzel and lasagna.??? And this has occurred several times so i have been very forgiving.
I arrived at the cafe to order. I was after a slice of cheesecake and a cup of tea. The hot water was placed in the tea pot sans tea bag and was left on the count for five minutes. Wasn’t hot. I asked if...the baked cheesecake was todays I was told it was yesterday. They served a huge slice and said it was because they were clearing it. Was as dry as should have been binned.
