Upon serving of the burgers, the presentati... read more It was our first time to taste the aforementioned "chubby cheeks" burger. We ordered the cheeseburger from the menu. Upon serving of the burgers, the presentation was nice and thus gave an impression that it also tasted as good as it looked. On first bite, the burger patty tasted good (average). The downside was that the BUNS were dry and its texture felt like it was almost due on the expiration date. Regardless, if we have a chance to go back here, we would still stopover and eat some burgers. We hope that the next time will be a better experience--with great, 'not dry' buns and good, delicious patty.

Unfortunately, the r... read more I went to Chubby Cheeks in Valencia, but it's definitely not anywhere close to Apo Island. I'm not sure why it was listed under Apo Island. Unfortunately, the restaurant permanently closed at that location in 2018, and Nevas Pizza, Pasta Restaurant has replaced it. I hope Chubby Cheeks finds a new location and reopens because the food was delicious. If they do reopen, I hope they hire staff who are more competent in running a restaurant and serving customers.

When the burger arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful presentation. It not only looked good but tasted delicious as well. The first bite was good, although the buns were a bit dry and seemed close to expiration. Despite this, we would still come back to try the burger again. Hopefully, next time we visit, the experience will be better with fresh, moist buns and a flavorful patty.
