But my disappointment quickly turned to joy when I found out that... read more I was shocked to have to pay an entry fee at a pub—it's been a while since I encountered that! But my disappointment quickly turned to joy when I found out that pints were just £1 at the bar. I was over the moon! We were part of a small group, one of whom was dressed as a bride, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The music, the dancing, the beer, and the affordable drinks all made for a great time.
