Was Darren at Fiddlehead a mag?
A well worth visit for a first time on a Saturday evening. Really busy, but a nice vibe and standout main dishes and sharables. I am sorry that it has taken us this long to have dinner here given how many times we have visited Bangor. View all feedback.
What Oren Jenkins dislikes about Fiddlehead:
we went there to celebrate our 8th anniversary. that was terrible. we had such an unpleasant experience for a moment we were excited about. they deserve to go out of business. View all feedback.
Every time I'm in bangor, we'll make sure a reservation at fiddlehead. the food and drinks are absolutely amazing! they are a farm to the table restaurant and whatever they do not of their farm that they are in front of location source, and I really think that makes all the difference. they serve unique dishes they had before. on my last visit, one of the specials was a tomatensalat with a balsam glaze and some olive oil, goat cheese and basilikum with crostini. sounds simple enough and something I previously enjoyed at other places, but wow! the tomatoes were perfect! they were juicy but not watery and were so beautifully composed with the cheese and balsam oil. I was in the sky, and that was just a starter. my dishes went up after the delicious meter! I was too full to order this dessert. they would make themselves a service by not eating here if they were in the opposite. I don't think there's a place I can recommend eating more!
Eating was the next level. I usually take my rest in the refrigerator, but these were eaten the next day without hesitation. everything was absolutely delicious and the service was top-notch. every time I go to maine, that must be one of my stops!
Exceptional restaurants that simply our best meal in maine and reviews well against any restaurant in the country. the cheese board had three well paired and delicious cheeses along with a great sorpresetta. the star of the show were the perfect garden and well seasoned lamb chops. also on the table was a meerrot healed with brown butter roasted flower cabbage, which was equally large. when I lived in maine, I would often be back, but I feel obliged to have had the opportunity to experience the hospitality and the great eating of laura and her team. excellent work, my ladies.
Staff was friendly and accommodating to dietary needs. Busy and loud atmosphere, although it was a later evening, after work crowd maybe? Dinner was tasty.
