Exceptional restaurants that simply our best meal in maine and reviews well against any restaurant in the country. the cheese board had three well paired and delicious cheeses along with a great sorpresetta. the star of the show were the perfect garden and well seasoned lamb chops. also on the table was a meerrot healed with brown butter roasted flower cabbage, which was equally large. when I lived in maine, I would often be back, but I feel obliged to have had the opportunity to experience the hospitality and the great eating of laura and her team. excellent work, my ladies.
Excellent service and inventive, delicious food. we ordered the burger, gay bauch, and tofu, but there is no bad option on this rotating menu chock full of fresh, locally sourced ingredients. the best part however was that the restaurant never hurls its customers through its meals, so we enjoyed a long, relaxing meal in our free time. make sure to shed the free cornbread with melasse – it's plate-lickin good!
