Had a good meal here sitting outside in the evening warmth. Service was friendly if not that fast, especially waiting to have our order taken. Both the pizza my husband had and my pasta were good if not exceptional, but my Mojito was very disappointing. Dessert was very good! Relatively good value for Banff too. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Meatball Pizza Pasta:
I tried the spaghetti and meatball dish as well as the lamb pesto pasta. The sauce for the spaghetti and meatballs was quite good—flavorful and packed with various ingredients. However, the meatballs were unexpectedly tough and chewy, lacking salt and seasoning. On the other hand, the lamb pesto pasta was disappointing. I could barely taste the pesto, and the dish overall was quite bland. I was hoping for a fresh, ro... View all feedback.
We were highly disappointed in this restaurant. Our server was lovely, however, we waited an hour and a half for 3 pizzas to be made…especially when there were very few people in the restaurant. After receiving the bill, only $6.20 was deducted. When speaking with the manager, she was unreceptive and disengaged that we waited for so long. She offhandedly offered us a free dessert to go obviously not understanding our point (rude). We passed and left.
Doesn't live up to its name. Had dinner there tonight with the wife. We ordered a Caesar Salad to split, and it was fabulous. Wife ordered the Elk Wild Boar Meatballs over penne, which was pretty good. Her meatballs were tasty. I ordered the Bonnie Clyde meatball appetizer as my main. Big mistake. After 40 minutes, what arrived were 8 of the smallest meatballs I have ever seen. I eat meatballs often, and make them often as well. I am a big fan of meatballs. These were abnormally small, and not at all flavorful. For $15 I would expect 3 or 4 decent sized meatballs, but no. If you put all the meat in each 4 ball section of the tiny plate they come out in, you might get one decent sized meatball. Do yourself a favor, don't order the Bonnie and Clyde meatball appetizer. I wish I'd sent it back, but I was very, very hungry. You know what? I'm still hungry.
My wife and I just finished a meal here. ceasar salat, calamari and a escape of chicken parm. we waited ten minutes to sit outside. I understand they seemed busy and everyone seems to be undermined. no care. we ordered and the salat and appetizer came quite fast. Now, only for a reality check, we have lived on the east coast of the usa for many years. if a restaurant cannot make a good calamari, then they are not Italian. the salate was good, no worries. the kalamari, the worst we ever had. no taste, smallest pieces we've ever seen. big negatiw! next, the chicken parm, beautiful recovery! the chicken tasted fresh, hot and juicy. sauce was hot, a little tart, with a good taste. pasta was good as the sweet. total, 2 of 3, they come, learn how to make a good calamari and they have covered all the bases.
Good arancini. the water was good. the server was beautiful. the pizza (2 sorts) was a 3. the children spaghetti was bland and a 2. actually the pizza was a 2.5 my man had a delicious salad that was a noticeably small part for a dinner size.
We ordered three pizzas and a pasta dish for take out. The ham on the pizza was great, but the pizza was somehow greasy and dry at the same time and didn’t have much flavor. The pasta dish was terrible. Noodles had zero flavor and the shrimp was hard as a rock. So disappointed we wasted a meal here.
