Primrose Dining Room Rimrock Resort

Absolutely incredible! Every dish and wine selection was exceptional. We wish we could have stayed longer to try more items from the menu. I ordered the lamb chop, which came from a whole lamb, and there were 8 or 9 chops. I enjoyed every single one of them. They were simply delicious—this is what juicy and tender truly means!

We absolutely love sipping coffee by the fireplace, and more recently, we enjoyed both lunch and dessert while taking in a breathtaking view of the mountains. The service is outstanding, and you won't be disappointed.

This was the best dinner I've ever experienced! The service was outstanding, and the view was breathtaking. However, it was the food that truly took center stage. Everything was not only delicious but also beautifully presented! It's clear that the chef puts a lot of passion into their creations. I also had breakfast the next morning and was once again impressed by the flavor, variety, and quality of the food. I can't wait to return!

As usual!! The Primrose restaurant had us, our full tummies and our satisfied palates saying, “Wow!” The Primrose restaurant is on the sixth floor of the Rimrock Hotel in Banff. As such, the views of the mountains and the hotel grounds are spectacular. We came for breakfast this morning and were seated by the window. The attentiveness of our host and servers made us feel extremely welcome. Despite these difficult Covid times everyone displayed a smile and pleasant demeanour with perfect class. We enjoyed the Mountain Breakfast and the Grizzly Pancakes. As you can see from the photos these dishes were simply a work of art! We also enjoyed the fresh squeezed orange and grapefruit juices and some of the best coffee you’ll find anywhere. The quality of the ingredients, such as the choice of fruit and bacon Could never be found in your neighbourhood supermarket. The quality is above and beyond.
