Buffalo Mountain Cafe - Banff

We love this little quantum coffee in Banff! Buffalo Mountain Cafe is located from the bustling streets of downtown Banff and has a quiet and peaceful cabin that you will never see in other shops in the city. The young crew was jolly and happy to serve their customers. They have prepared sandwiches, pastries, snacks, teas, espresso and coffee. We ordered Café Latte, Croissant and ham n cheese sandwich. Everything tasted good and her latte was perfect for the snow-covered weather outside. Parking was a bit hard, especially on weekends because of the Hotel Lodge customers. But I suggest you go there early in the morning, or you can also come by after a long hike in the Tunnelberg!

My wife and I were there at our 15th. Celebrate anniversary! The reservation process was simple and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Our server, Sarah, was wonderful. attentive and conversational yet allows us to enjoy the evening. While renovating the main kitchen room, the restaurant has moved to the “Convention” side. We didn't change that. The food and drinks were amazing. We drank Park Caesars and Wildlife Mules. Delicious and made with local craft fleet. We started the charcuterie board. It was so good. Then our ducks arrived. My wife had the Bisonburger with homemade tomato soup. I had the chicken flatcake sandwich. All were delicious. And to round it off when the staff realized that it was our anniversary, the chef Dessert offered us on the house. So we enjoyed apple cake a la fashion. Our experience was great. If you are looking for a special place to spend hard earned money, you will not be disappointed or dissatisfied with Buffalo Mountain Lodge. Thank you to everyone who served us.

Amazing place to stay near everything! The rooms are nicely furnished. Wonderful staff. Recommended meals at the lodge.

The coffee and breakfast were excellent. The takeout food was delicious and easy to warm up in our kitchen. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

I had a fantastic dinner at The Prow! The atmosphere was pleasantly relaxing, and the food, drinks, and service were all outstanding. The staff was incredibly friendly. My wife and I shared four of the small/share plates, which were a generous portion, and it was more than enough food. Our server recommended the cheesecake for dessert, and it was absolutely one of the best I've ever tried. I would highly recommend The Prow!
