We went as part of our honeymoon. It was a bit loud, and even with reservations we got a table that was high traffic area. They were super kind and comped a couple desserts for us. The staff were super nice, quick, always re-filling drinks. Food was amazzzing and super filling.
The dining experience was excellent. The gluten-free options were clearly marked on the menu, and they gladly prepared a gluten-free version of the beet dish upon request. Any issues with the service have been mostly resolved.
The food was tasty, but not every dish will appeal to everyone. The drinks, however, were fantastic and had a unique flair.
I had an enjoyable experience at Brazen. The noise level was low and the background music was moderate, not distracting. I started my evening with the Smokin ' Warden cocktail. I was surprised to see the ice frozen on an angle in the glass, it definitely gave the drink an interesting appearance. I ordered 2 small plates, the Salt Cod and the Lamb Chops. The lamb chops were tender, served medium rare and flavorful. The mint sponge gave the dish some crunch. The Salt Cod was full of flavor and the caviar wasn 't fishy in taste. I ordered their signature dish, Ginger Beef. They caramelize the onions at your table with a small fire display! The beef was tender with a hint of ginger flavor. Diners beware! The blistered Shishiro peppers can be spicy! Typically only 1 out of 10 might pack a punch...I had 1 zinger that gave me the hiccups!! Overall, a great experience and the staff were prompt and professional. Rylee was very attentive. Will definitely come back.
**Dining Experience at Brazen: A Mixed Review** Brazen restaurant offers a tantalizing culinary experience in Banff, known for its excellent food, particularly the bison skewer and crème brûlée. While many guests praise the attentive and friendly staff, including generous gestures like complimentary desserts, concerns about the service and portion sizes have surfaced. The a la carte menu can be limiting, especially for families, and some dining experiences have been marred by miscommunication regarding special offers. Nonetheless, the ambiance, featuring moderate noise levels and captivating presentations like the flambéed Ginger Beef, enhance the overall dining experience, leaving guests eager to return.

We had a fantastic dinner for my wife and me. The menu encourages sharing, allowing us to sample a variety of different dishes. We highly recommend it!
The food and service were excellent! I loved the unique method of ordering a variety of dishes.
The food is incredible, and you definitely shouldn't miss the Ginger Beef. We really liked the family-style dining experience!
Food was great, but service was not good. Although we ordered a large plate the portions were small but the food was overall tasty. Was given drink tokens at check in to hotel but upon paying for bill they could not be used because the token use was not communicated properly. Overall expensive for what you get and service could be much better.
