Good curryfish head, fresh fish, preferably spicy, if possible. Excellent roasted squid with salted egg yolk and my favorite would be the tone pot brinjal with salted fish, best eaten with white rice. I hope to be back to try many other signature dishes. View all feedback.
If it is Brunei standards, I must say that the top 3. Curry table is quite beautiful and all dishes are cooked up to a good standard. 1 additional star for his staff in court.
First floor has private room for private events. Food is good can't go wrong with the curry fish head. Overall good!
Quality food served. Taste great Fried kailan over kailan, Guinness stout pork rib, salted egg fried squid, curry fish slices and minced meat tofu.
The atmosphere on the first floor feels more like a high end restaurant as compared to the bottom floor. However, the food is superb! The staffs were attentive and service was quick. I recommend trying the fried salted egg lotus if you're craving for a snack or crunchy dish. It had a generous amount of salted egg in it as compared to many other restaurants. Another unique dish to try is the thai style soft shell crab, super crispy, flavourful and not very oily. An old time favourite is the guiness stout pork ribs. Super juicy and tender. As for soup, my recommendation is the hot and sour soup which has just the right amount of spiciness and sourness.
Was told it was a famous fish head curry. Best in Brunei. So my friend took me there. Taste not too bad. We order 3 small sized but came out big portion. End up 75% left overs. Price is reasonable for Brunei standard. 3 dishes 1 tea 1 soft drinks B$57.10. Hard to find parking though.
