This restaurant is worth visiting as the chef really knows how to cook. I highly recommend trying the pot dish. My wife and I were so impressed that we recommended it to our friends, and even booked a reservation for our daughters. The lamb rump we had was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. The entire evening was relaxing and enjoyable. View all feedback.

I went to this restaurant for dinner and was incredibly unimpressed. Both meals lacked flavor and were overpriced. I had a really disappointing experience and will not be returning. View all feedback.
The restaurant left much to be desired. In my opinion, the food was decent, but a bit overpriced, and I would give it three stars. However, my wife, on the other hand, would only give it two stars. It had been years since we last visited, but we remembered it well. The classic French cuisine and unique layout with a spiral staircase stood out in our memories. The aroma of cooking greeted us as we arrived, and the parking lot was full. We climbed the exterior stairs to the first floor and were warmly welcomed by the staff. The service was excellent and our drinks were promptly offered. Unfortunately, the drink selection was limited. I began with a delicious chicken liver pâté, although the portion size was a bit small for the price. My main course, a fillet steak, was cooked to my liking but lacked flavor. The side of chips that came with it were not to my taste. The prices were high, especially for vegetarian and vegan options. The only standout dish was the steak. The fish option, salmon, was unimpressive according to my wife. Dessert, a cheesecake, was tasty but the addition of factory-made biscuits seemed out of place. The coffee was the highlight of the meal. Overall, we were not impressed and likely won’t be returning. With some creativity and improvement, the dining experience could be much better considering the high prices. However, it seems that the restaurant caters mainly to a specific clientele.
Myself and my wife together with another couple had dinner in Pot Belly on Saturday evening. Everything was superb from our greeting, to having drinks in new outside bar which felt most comfortable and safe, to our beautiful meal. Service was excellent, food excellent ,...covid measures left us with absolutely nothing to worry about...a truly lovely relaxed evening!!
I agree totally with Lyle. Could not fault the food or location, but so many different people served us it lacked a personal touch. Will be back though as love the venue.
