Even though its written down on the app don't know how they manage that. But I still used them because the prices were decent. I tried to order today but the app was down and told me to call the store. So I did, placed my order and was told it would be an hour. Fair enough happy to wait, it arrived and had a four pounds extra charge on it. I was confused thinking they now do extra delivery charges since normally it's free. They told me they charge four pounds for phone orders. Four pounds to call when it was their app that was down. I'm shocked I've never heard of a phone call charge for a business. It's apparently to encourage people to use the app which was down. No offer of a refund just a sorry. If your app isn't working how can I use it? They've lost a customer who used them once a week for over a year now. Won't be using them again.

My husband ordered a smurf burger with no taco sauce and I ordered a f... read more Ordered food online tonight from captain cooks. We have never had food from there before. My husband ordered a smurf burger with no taco sauce and I ordered a fish supper and we asked for an extra chip. The fish was completely burnt and rock hard. The burger came with the sauce he didn't want and a big pile of coleslaw in it which he didn't ask for. After scraping all this stuff off the burger was still rotten. Also instead of getting the extra chip we paid for, they just put some extra chips in one of the bags instead. Worst chippy we have ever had. Really hate paying money for burnt and disgusting food and it wasn't cheap. £10 for burnt fish is a disgrace. We will never be back and will tell everyone we know to stay clear. Ruined our evening and we both feel ill after eating the small amount that we ate.

The... read more This restaurant is a great little spot. I went in at 9:30am and asked for a baked potato. The man working there said no problem, he could make that for me. The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly, and the menu was fantastic.
