A family run Logis hotel in a village just off the N59/N4 route from Colmar to Reims (Don't know why Trip Advisor says there are no hotels here!). Ideal stop-over on way back from Switzerland to the UK. Very friendly welcome, smart but simple room, comfortable and quite spacious. good value at €64. Breakfast was simple but delicious.The restaurant punches above its weight. Smart and stylish, service was excellent with friendly advice. The restaurant was full, mainly locals who knew each other creating a friendly relaxed atmosphere. The four course €35 menu was excellent value and very much fine dining. (Even more so as I had paid more than this for one course in Switzerland the previous evening). Would plan to visit again if in the area.
We have been there on a cold wintery Sunday lunch with parents and fiancée. The food is nice and local (two menus with good balance price/quality) and the personnel welcoming. The menu is translated in German and English (with a typo on "pancake" lol)...Special mention for the cheese cart...
I stayed in this small hotel-restaurant for one night in half-board. The evening meal they served me was stunning, with appetizer, starter salad with poached egg and bacon, main course stewed beef with cantarelles and steamed vegetables, very nice home made dessert, and cheese from the region. the accompanying local beer (for aperitif) and wine were good. My compliments to the kitchen staff. The hotelroom was clean and reasonably large with enough space in the shower for a large guy like me. I will definitely go back, preferably with my partner. I payed 75 euro + 12 for the drinks, and this was a bargain given the excellent local food.
Habitant pour les 2/3 de l'année dans le sud ou je suis actionnaire d' un restaurant, j'ai une résidence à quelques km de cet établissement que j'avais un peu oublié. Sauf erreur il y a eu un changement de propriétaire ? C'est avec bonheur que nous avons passé une excellente soirée avec un couple d'amis. Je suis outré, quand je vois des commentaires ineptes comme celui de Plerom. Quand on connait la somme d'efforts qu'il faut faire pour proposer, dans un petit village, une offre aussi bien réalisée de l'entrée au dessert, on ne peut dire que chapeau. Restaurant cosy, belles tables nappées de blanc, ambiance douillette, service attentionné, petites attentions avant et après le repas, prix raisonnables eu égard à l'offre, tous les ingrédients sont réunis pour passer un bon moment et se régaler. Sans doute la meilleure table à bien des km à la ronde. N'hésitez pas. Je reviendrai à chacun de mes séjours dans les Vosges.
Pour une première fois nous sommes ravis.Tout d abord la décoration Notre table de quatre personnes située sur un petit côté C est intime Ensuite tout était parfait Un petit bémol on nous a un peu oublié sur la finLes assiettes étaient pas débarrassées Le filet de bœuf une tuerie!!!!Le café gourmand idemDonc nous reviendrons !!!Très bon rapport qualité prix
