A really lovely evening at Spelt. The food was delicious and the service friendly. It is relaxed, but the quality of the restaurant is very good. Plenty of vegetarian options. Well cooked, tasty fish dishes. Dogs welcome. Although the restaurant is small, it is divided into 3 rooms, so we didn’t feel cramped. The parking is either in the high street, or a very close public car park. A good find in a pretty town. Vegetarian options: Delicious meatless balls!

I had a fantastic dinner at Spelt last night. We’re on vacation here and went with friends we’re staying with. The staff were all friendly, helpful, and very professional. The meals were amazing, cooked to perfection and paired wonderfully with the excellent local beer from “Cottage Beer Project.” I highly recommend their “Doodle Pale Ale.” Service: Dine-in.
