Th... read more Ate diner and breakfast here during my stay. Wait staff was friendly and spoke good English. The food was all I would have expected from a German restaurant. They had a nice selection of Beer to choose from. Everything I had was hot and tasty and looked good.

Es wurde relativ schnell und gleichzeitig serviert.Die Bedienung war stark ausgelastet, aber trotzdem stets freundlich.Die Altstadtlage direkt am Fluß ist ideal, besonders zum draußen essen, man sitzt trotz der zentralen Lage sehr gemütlich und muß sich nicht von vorbeilaufenden Touristen auf den Teller schauen lassen.Das Preisniveau ist gegenüber manchen anderen Gaststätten in der Innenstadt leicht erhöht, aber die Qualität des Essens, die Größe der Portionen und der gute Service sind es in jedem Fall wert.

The menu lists specialties from Franconia. We had wild boar patties with potato cake and cranberry sauce and sour roasts, finished with sachet cakes and sahanet cakes. Everything was delicious. The smaller rooms inside allowed us to share conversations with some of the other guests. We had a very nice meal in a cozy atmosphere.

We thought a drink at a table outside and stayed for dinner, I had the best vegetarian dish of my time in Germany so far! The service was excellent and the waiter took the time to translate the menu for us. Great food, great wine, great service, all in a beautiful location.
