Great sushi in a small but high restaurant. easy to find, but many steps inside because its 4 layers. beautiful creative sushi rolls, with unique ingredients su... read more Great sushi in a small but high restaurant. easy to find, but many steps inside because its 4 layers. beautiful creative sushi rolls, with unique ingredients such as fruit and parmesan cheese, honey sauce, tomato. no long lists of rolling but hard hitting. great espresso and music. personal wonderful and very welcoming. in the first floor there is a coffee/treatment counter for quick stops. 2 and 4 are additional seating, and 3. is restaurant and bar.

It gets pretty loud and busy in... read more The ambience is cool and young. They have a DJ now and that was ok. He couldn’t figure out the vibe he wanted to go for though. It gets pretty loud and busy in here as well. Our waitress was a little weird, she must not have wanted to wait on us bc she left us waiting and we said something to another waitress and she ended up taking over for her. It is restaurant but I didn’t get anything off of that menu. I ordered the volcano roll which was phenomenal and a tad bit spicy and the wasabi Caesar salad w chicken and that had a kick to it as well. I was satisfied. My friend ordered from the restaurant menu: shrimp crab quesadilla , Carne Asada and strawberry cheesecake. I only tasted to quesadilla and it wasn’t spicy and not really cheesy. The shrimp were good and the crab was scarce but good where it was. My friend enjoyed the carne asada, the steak was tender, juicy and flavorful but the rice a bit dry. The strawberry cheesecake was delicious.

Awesome creative sushi rolls, with unique ingredients like fruit and parmesan cheese, honey sauce, tomato. Not a long list of rolls, but hardhitting. Great espresso and music. Staff wonderful and very welcoming. First floor is a coffee/pastry counter for quick stops.2nd and 4th stories are additional seating, and 3rd is restaurant and bar.

The place gets quite... read more The atmosphere at XS is trendy and youthful. They now have a DJ, which was alright, though he seemed unsure of the vibe he was aiming for. The place gets quite loud and crowded. Our waitress acted a bit strange and seemed reluctant to serve us, leaving us waiting until another waitress noticed and took over. While it is a restaurant, I didn’t order from the main menu. Instead, I tried the volcano roll, which was fantastic and had just the right amount of spice.
