Went there for Grateful brunch. Overall we enjoyed ourselves, but we were looking forward to tie dye pancakes that they no longer serve but is still advertised. Also our server was passive aggressive, and acted like he had no idea what was going on in the restaurant but was the “bar manager”. View all feedback.
Austin made the experience and that says a lot because eating is worthy of purpose. the venue is four stars rustic. the menu is amazing. austin listened to two senior stories and made us feel special. his assistant was also spots. Do not miss the crab bone marrow dip.
Absolutely wonderful experience at True Chesapeake. Wonderful food. Great atmosphere. Drinks always feel a little slow here. But overall terrific!

Our server forgot to put in our order and so the manager came over to tell us that he would expedited as soon as possible. We appreciate the communication, but honestly were a little surprised they didn’t offer us anything for that extra long wait.
The food is fabulous: French Onion Roasted Oyster; Steak Tartare w Smoked Oyster Aioli Caviar; Caesar Sala w Fried Oyster Croutons; etc The venue is beautiful. The wait staff warm, helful.
