Recently moved to Baltimore from Montgomery County and I was looking to find somewhere That has good tasty soul food closer to home. Did a GOOGLE search and happened upon this l as I was coming from out of town and decided to pick something up before I got home. Even though the reviews were nothing short of amazing, I was a little skeptical because so many times. I've read great reviews and the food would still be sub-par, but this was definitely a hit. I got the veggie platter because I didn't want anything too heavy late in the evening. Mac and cheese Candied Yams and Cabbage. Everything was absolutely delicious And the portion sizes were really big... I will be back to try more things!!!

I ordered a Mac and cheese bowl with fried chicken on top. The food smelled good when I got it, and when I got to my destination to eat, the food wasn’t good at all. The chicken looked grey and and was pretty rubbery, it also tasted like it was cooked it in old grease, the macaroni wasn’t creamy at all and it was pretty bland. The white sauce that was added was more for color than taste. I’m still recovering from it the day after I was very disappointed.

I travel 30 mins from home to get here. The food and portions are great. The staff seems very friendly also. I've been here 3-4 times and every single time there is something missing from order. I'm either missing a side or whole meals. One time I didn't realize I was missing a meal until I got home. Traveled another half hour back there to pick up my meal that wasn't even put into the system when I ordered it and home. Other than that I like this place.

There is nothing within the control of this establishment they are already doing, that they could make better. And the only thing working against then from time to time is undesirable types harassing customers and sometimes workers. Absolutely amazing local Baltimore business. I wish we could grant the opportunity to skilled and talented individuals to open businesses like this. Who otherwise might not have the opportunity, because they are out there
