Was User at Motzi Bread a mag?
I recently discovered Motzi Bread from a vegan friend who mentioned that the entire menu is plant-based. They choose not to advertise this fact, as they believe it might deter some customers. If it weren’t for this, I would have given Motzi a five-star rating. I have only visited once, but I enjoyed everything I tried: the chocolate babka, the corn bread, and the chocolate chip cookies. I also admire that the couple... View all feedback.

The baked goods at Motzi Bread are simply the best I’ve ever had! When you enter the store, you’re greeted by the wonderful aroma of freshly baked bread and the warm smiles of owners Maya Muñoz and Russell Trimmer. They consistently go out of their way to use only the finest and freshest ingredients, often sourced from local farms. My husband and I have also discovered that they craft innovative and imaginative treats that are always too delightful to resist! We wholeheartedly recommend that anyone living in or visiting the Baltimore area stop by Motzi Bread—your taste buds will definitely thank you!

I spent two weeks in Paris, and I must say the focaccia was absolutely incredible, while the baguette was simply outstanding. The restaurant maintains the highest ethical standards in sourcing their ingredients and in their business practices. Even the cocoa, coffee, and chai were delightful. I can't wait to try the entire menu. Don't hesitate—rush over to Motzi Bread!

Popped in to check it out as I heard there were vegan options here and had a nice little chat with the co owner who shared that they are 100% vegan !!! . They choose not to emphasize this point as part of their marketing strategy, knowing that if they promote themselves as vegan some folks will choose not to partake but that the vegans will find them we are sneaky that way . They should be changed to all vegan in HC and allowed five stars. I thought I'd never have a pain au chocolat again in my life and then not only did I have one at Motzi, it was hands down the best one EVER. That whole grain situation makes all the difference in terms of depth of flavor and mouthfeel. Also stocked up on a few items in my freezer bread, English muffins that I look forward to for a future treat. Updated from previous review on 2021-10-16

I only recently learned of Motzi Bread from a fellow vegan friend, who told me that Motzi is all vegan but chooses not to advertise that fact so as not to turn narrow minded people off. (Therefore, HappyCow should allow them to get 5 star ratings, which I would have given) I have only been to Motzi once so far, but I liked all 3 items I got: chocolate blackberry babka, einkorn bread, and chocolate chip cookies. I appreciate that the couple who own it try to give back to various communities, local and international (such as through their pay-what-you-can option and giving money to organizations).
