This restaurant is amazing. I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant with my family and friends (30 people). We had an amazing experience. The food, drinks, and service was amazing. The staff and managers were attentive and amazing. I willdefinitely eat at this restaurant again.
If you are looking for full on flavor in everything served, this is the place for you. The quality of the food and the attention paid to the flavor compositions were so satisfying. I had the chicken and blue crab and shrimp tacos. *Chef's kiss* My wife hadthe smoked and pickled mushrooms tacos and the crunchy Mahi Mahi Taco. Both also amazing. Their take on mussels and raw oysterswere very pleasing. I normally liter my oysters with sauce and such but these needed nothing but a squeeze of lime. Magnificent! The queso fondido was sooooo good that you HAVE to get it when you go. The beet salad was fresh and flavorful. I'm glad I chosethis spot for our Anniversary dinner! We will be back many times!!
Great upscale dining experience. Beautiful view and interior. Excellent service and food. Tapas style so expect very little quantity for your money but high quality. Easy for your bill to climb if your not careful ordering so be prepared. Datenight/birthday dinner for two was over $200 but we'll worth it IMO. Parking in garage was $10. We will be back.
There?s good Mexican food, there?s great Mexican food, then there?s Authentic Mexican food. Maximón was authentic and offered lots of variety. Including dishes from around South America. Everything had a story and was well designed, when first looking atthe menu was too focused on the price point but after feeling comfortable with our waiter (you were great Greg) I understoodwhat I was getting myself into. The menu changes quite frequently I was told so the dishes we had may be old by the time ofthis review. Red snapper ceviche was delicious (I stayed in Peru for 1 month) but the quantity was too little in my opinion. Iunderstand restaurants do small plates but for Ceviche I feel as if you should be able to have more than 2 bites perperson. Guacamole was great with fresh chips, pairs well with the craft cocktails to kick off the night. Carne Asada platterwas worth every dollar, it filled up my GF and I completely. 3 people could eat it, just ask for extra tortillas. OverallMaximón was awesome, I?ll be back to try new drinks and food.

Gregory, our server was absolutely amazing. Continue to celebrate family and friends events here. Food was great!
The staff appeared to be somewhat disorganized during our visit. Our drinks took about 30 minutes to arrive, and we received our food before the drinks were served. When we mentioned that the drinks had come from a different bar, the waiter was already aware of the cause of the delay. We also had to wait quite a while for any requests we made, such as water, straws, and utensils. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the food and drinks overall.
I dined on the patio for the first time, and the weather was beautiful. The decor was well done, creating a delightful ambiance reminiscent of Mexico. The food was generally good, except for the arugula salad that came with my sandwich. I've had this dish twice before and it was great, but this time the salad was overly salty and inedible. On the bright side, my chicken sandwich was delicious. I think I’ll try something different during my next visit.
