**Restaurant Review: Liora - A Mixed Bag of Experiences** Liora offers a beautiful ambiance and creative vegan cuisine that captivates many diners. While some guests rave about the flavorful dishes and attentive service, others report frustrations with slow service, unexpected closures, and limited menu options. Signature items like the butternut squash risotto, vegan chocolate chip cookies, and interesting cocktails receive praise, though some diners wish for a more authentic celebration of vegan flavors rather than attempts to mimic non-vegan dishes. Despite inconsistencies, many share a desire to return, drawn by the welcoming atmosphere and commitment to dietary preferences. Overall, Liora's charm keeps hopeful diners coming back.

I've visited Liora several times, and each experience has been outstanding. The staff is very attentive to food allergies and consistently makes sure that every guest is satisfied. The food is incredible, but it's the ambiance and service that will definitely bring me back.

What a lovely discovery! We chose to sit at the bar. The drinks skewed a bit sweet and weren't particularly strong. The tacos were quite tasty and packed with flavor, though the taco shell was a bit on the hard side. The risotto was outstanding, although it could have used a touch less sauce. The steak au poivre was very good, but it felt a bit pricey for what it was.

It was our first time at Liora. A friend had given us a gift certificate as they knew we were vegan. Everything was absolutely delicious! So creative and beautiful atmosphere. Excellent service as well! We will definitely be back!

The space inside is simply beautiful. Very modern and classy looking with lots of windows from the front of the restaurant that brings in plenty of natural light. My friend and I were greeted upon arrival and seated in the dining area. It was still early in the evening so there weren't too many other diners but by the time we left, it was quite full. To start, I ordered the Coco Cardi Daquiri cocktail while my friend got Carrots, Cut, Clarity, a zero proof drink that was pretty tasty. For shareable apps, we got the Barbacoa Taco (came with 2 tacos) and the Baby Gem Caesar. Both were delicious and so flavorful. I loved how the Caesar was charred which also gave it more flavor. For our main entrees, I got the Maitake Steak au Poivre while my friend ordered the Young Jackfruit in Mole Rojo. I loved my dish. The mushrooms were crunchy and chewy. The Marsala cream sauce was simply amazing and none was left over! My friend also said enjoyed his jackfruit dish. We wanted to end our dinner with something sweet so we shared the baklava. It tasted fresh, was flaky as it should be and not too sweet. Our server was just attentive enough and everything was brought out in a reasonable time. Although I'm not vegan, I do love good vegan food, which this place is. Our dinner was nothing short of amazing and I definitely can't wait to come back.

I wanted to give them five stars so badly, because there just aren 't enough good high end vegan places in this world. But we were sitting for almost 20 minutes before a server came over, and the tables were only half full. When we looked around, no one else seemed to have food, but two servers were regularly BOTH engaged at a nearby high table of eight guys who were out on the town and being a bit loud. The cocktails we each had were both terrible for different reasons; a thyme named one was so bitter it was undrinkable (and I like aperol and campari, so I am a friend to bitterness typically), while their daiquiri was a horrendous sugar bomb. We covertly quarter-poured each of our drinks into the other 's to balance them each out, but this was seriously disappointing. True Daiquis are very balanced and delicate and customarily a delight, this was... It was horrendous. The spicy carrot marg was barely better, the carrot didn 't go with the lime at all. Our soups and mains were delicious, and since they are a restaurant first, they get 4 stars for the food. But man, between the horrendous service from our actual waitress (the water guy was fantastic, we always had water in our cups), and those godawful bevies, I dont know I 'd go back except for a nibble when dead empty.
