What User doesn't like about La Scala Italiano:
1. The food is tasteless 2. The appetizers are a joke. Some of them have the size for kids but charge 3. Ceasar salad... I would rather not say 4. The cheapest wine is 60 5. The service was good. I have been 2 times today: the first and the last.
I love this restaurant! They treated me so well. michael my server was a real gem so professional and friendly. I felt observed and taken care of. I had her moskito also tried her grilled caesar salat finally my entree, mahi mahi did nice it came with penn made to her taste. I kept it simple; garlic dressed. the meal was so satisfying. I couldn't eat another bite! next I am in baltimore sick in any case again.
We’ve had this baby on our list for some time now and I am disappointed it took us this long to finally dine in. The food is listed in order from the best to the best LOL everything was soooo good!! The lobster Regina is a fan favorite and it definitely lives up to reputation! Great service as well. Definitely recommend!
First off the food was very good and each staff member that we dealt with was very friendly. But the wait was ridiculously long, over an hour to get our food. Even to take our order took forever. Water was dripping onto our table from the ceiling. So we moved to the next table over and the staff didn't even notice. The last straw was both tables we sat at had huge chunks of wood missing..had there been a tablecloth I would have never noticed.
Love! Love! Love! Food is fantastic. The portion sizes are large. Flavors are on point. Price is to be expected but honestly for what you get it isn't bad at all. The family who owns the place are super friendly. I felt so welcome from the time we walked in the door and to the time we left. It is a must visit. I'll be back for sure! Pictures: Bday Tiramisu Lobster Regina- lobster and jumbo crab in a red pepper cream sauce Side of penna marinara (comes with Veal Baltimore) Side of fettuccine Alfredo (ordered because I'm not a fan of marinara) Veal Baltimore- Veal scallopini with crab, shrimp in a wine sauce!!!
Who says Baltimore can’t do good Italian!? Whoever it is hasn’t been to La Scala.
