La Folie Wine Bar & Steak Frites

It was still open on Tuesday 29th august 2017. steaks were good, outsole was very good, other objects were hit and miss. server was excellent as the house wines. kid friendly.

We visited la film on Saturday at 12 noon, and everything was great, from our reception on the door to the fantastic crème caramel dessert! our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable, and spontaneously offered rehearsals of two different red wines, so I could decide if I really wanted the house red (I did it was a nice bordeaux who went well with the steak friten what was the reason we were there.) we had the fresh baked puff beaker, which was fabulous; and the salat and the dessert! the only negative blip was when my companion ordered the chocolate mousse and a house made sweets bar instead ( apparently the mousse 't was available), but our server apologized profusely to not mention the switch, and the sweetness bar was pretty good. if they really wish to eat excellent, is la film the place!

We had a wonderful evening at La Folie! We assembled at the bar, and when we were all there, went to our reserved table. We took advantage of the Thursday night wine and cheese specials. Among our group, we had steak frites, mussels with sausage, trout special, beef bourguignon, and the French onion soup and squash soup. Everyone was delighted with all the food, wine, cheese, and beer. Street parking can be pretty full, but we found spaces about a block away next to the church.

We had an excellent time at La Folie. The service from our server, Kristin, and the hostess, Kay, was exceptional. Kristin gave great recommendations for the menu. The mushroom crisps and beef bourguignon were delicious. The creme brûlée is great to share for dessert. Can't wait to go back!
