Reviews - Amicci's
Reviews summary
Located in Baltimore's Little Italy, Amicci's stands as a classic red-gravy joint offering comforting Italian-American dishes. Diners can enjoy an array of reasonably priced options, with noteworthy mention of the meatballs and garlic bread. However, experiences are varied; while some guests praise the attentive service and ambiance, others highlight issues with food quality and service delays. Notably, complaints of poor hygiene and unfriendliness have surfaced, dampening the overall experience. For those seeking a casual meal, Amicci's may suffice, but diners should weigh both the culinary delights and potential pitfalls of their visit.

I sat at the side of the restaurant where the bar is because I was by myself and didn't want to wait for a tablr. My review is based on the service at the bar side for one person. My bartender was Samantha. She was fast, knew how to multitask and made me feel welcome. I ordered a pasta with scampi sauce and chicken Parm. The food was very good and the serving was big so I did not get to finish it. I remember thinking the scampi sauce was one of the best I've had. Next time I go back I will probably order shrimp scampi or the house gnocchi. There were not many options for wine but it was ok, it was not expensive and it was tasty so I was happy. The bar has an old school feel, made out of wood. It's probably the original bar and I love bars that have that a pub type of vibe. There were several TVs playing the games and the TVs were very good quality. It would be a great place to watch a game with a group. My food came quick and I didn't need to wait for the check, so I will probably go back next time I am in town. The restaurant is located on a strip along with other restaurants. I sat outside to wait for my taxi and decided to take pictures. Although I went during the day, I would love to go at night and sit outside. It would be nice to sit with a group and relax under the lights and have a few drinks. Overall, this is a good choice when visiting Baltimore. It can accommodate larger groups and the menu offers something for everyone.
As a first timer you must try the 3-course dinner. The lasagna was perfect along with The Panino as an appetizer. My wife had the chicken Parmigiano. Great quality food
We ordered the signature appetizer which was good but a but over cooked. There was no one else in the dining room except us and we were on a tight schedule. The waitress took it upon herself not to put out entree orders in until we were half way fine the appetizer, only she disappeared and didn't check on us until we were completely finished the appetizer so we waited and waited for our entrees. Then I asked for bread with our entrees only to be told they do not serve bread anymore. WHAT KIND OF ITALIAN RESTAURANT DOESN'T SERVE BREAD? I asked for a box and took my food home so I could eat it the next day with bread. I last ate at Amicci's in 2021 but had really bad service and furor about the no bread policy. Now I remember why I avoided it for the years.

This place is incredible! We traveled all the way from Chesapeake, and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we've had in Baltimore. The food was fresh and outstanding. Our server was attentive and ensured we were well taken care of. The entire staff was very loving and adored our baby during our visit. This is hands down the best Italian restaurant we've ever been to. I really enjoyed the area; we walked from the Inner Harbor to Little Italy, and it took us about eight minutes. I had the shrimp fettuccine, and it was delicious!
My wife and I decided to dine here during our visit to Baltimore due to its high ratings and lunch availability. It turned out to be an excellent choice! The food was exceptional! My wife ordered the Chicken Delores, while I went for the Shrimp Scampi. We also shared some cheesy garlic bread—because who can resist more cheese? We ended our meal with a delicious cannoli. Everything was fantastic! I highly recommend giving this place a try!
The food was fantastic and the service was outstanding. The “Dolores” (first picture) was amazing. I also tried the chicken Alfredo, which was good but not exceptional. The process of ordering and paying through the QR code was seamless and convenient. Our food arrived promptly. We chose to sit outside, which was delightful. Although we were the only ones there, the staff was very attentive and checked on us regularly.
Mussels delicious. Garlic bread was good. Lasagna, needed more melted cheese in my opinion. Tiramisu is totally different but good in its own way. Bread pudding was excellent. Americano was strong. Server was okay but not great. More friendliness goes a long way. The receiving lady was very nice and helpful.
This is a really good Italian place in Little Italy! The prices were pretty normal, the service was good (but our server didn?t do much which was weird because other people filled up our water, brought out our food, and cleared away our dishes). The food was excellent and so was the atmosphere. I would come back.

The mussels were delicious, and the bread was good. The lasagna could have used more melted cheese. The tiramisu was quite different from what I'm used to, but still good in its own way. The bread pudding was excellent, and the Americano was strong. The server was okay, but could have been friendlier. A little more warmth would go a long way. However, the hostess was very nice and helpful.
We had a great experience. We were seated even though we arrived early for our reservation. Great food. It was fantastic, our server was great, Tracy was very attentive.
Always attentive service and great food. We like the casual atmosphere and have had all good experiences.
We always stop here on our way to Aspen and am never disappointed. The food is consistently great. The regular and Veggie calzones were both fresh and delicious as was the Blanco pizza. The Verne quinoa salad was tasty but maybe I'll order the dressing on the side next time since it was a bit tangy I prefer very minimal dressing.
This is a really good Italian place in little italy! the prices were quite normal, the service was good (but our server did not much what was strange because other people filled our water, our foods out and our dishes away.) that was excellent and so was the atmosphere. I would come back.

The owners don’t play about their guest! They are very hands on and only hire the best of servers. Very family oriented so yes great atmosphere for kids as well. The portions are so big! Food service cocktails in a warm safe and friendly environment! You will absolutely love your food and service I definitely recommend this as one if not the best in little Italy Baltimore.
My first time in Baltimore. This was a great choice for an Italian restaurant. The service was amazing, and the food was even better. Definitely recommend trying the calamari!
We arrived in the middle of the afternoon on Monday, so we missed the crowds we assume flock here for Friday and Saturday nights. This place was FANTASTIC. A rare gem in Little Italy! Portions are plenty with enough to take home and enjoy a 2nd time. Ingredients taste authentic, the place is cutely decorated, and this establishment boasts a welcoming staff!
Our server couldn’t have been nicer Everything was delicious. The pane con rotundo is a must. But the baked rigatoni bolognese, penne vodka, and chicken parm were also sooooo good

We stopped at this restaurant for a late lunch. It was relatively calm when we arrived. Our server provided good service. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We tried the amiccis...
Amicci's is a must-visit restaurant. We were searching for a place to dine in Little Italy and were denied service at another restaurant (No children under 5, can...)
