Ting Tong Kanteen - Balnarring

3 of us ate here last week, the staff are very friendly and helpful but the food is quite bland. We shared a few dishes and none were great. The edamame lacked seasoning, roti was below average and with the curry was placed under the wet sauce so it got wet (why?!). Bland, bland, bland. If you have other options you may want to take them.

Had a great birthday dinner for a good friend on 15th July. After reading some reviews was a but hesitant, but I was pleasantly surprised. We had a number of plates shared between us. Our host was very knowledgeable about the dishes but wasn't overbearing. We just keep ordering dishes until we were done. Peking Duck, Prawn & Chicken spring rolls & ttk kalamari was superb. We will definitely be back.

We should have known when we booked a table for 8, arrived and were the only table of customers on a Friday nightThe food was bland and completely overpriced - nasi goreng for $30 and the blandest I have ever tastedThe kitchen staff decided to clean the kitchen at 9.00 as they had nothing to do so they brought rubbish bins and mops and buckets into the restaurant, lined up near our table. We are locals and will make sure our community knows the story

I was looking forward to dining here but unfortunately the food was way overpriced and not good at all.I certainly don't mind paying for great quality food but we were a large table and not one person enjoyed their meal and we all said we won't be back which is a shame as the set up looks great and I always thought Asian was pretty hard to get wrong!

I have reviewed this place before, 2-3 years ago, and was scathing. Swore I would never go back!!! Well what a change! Mark and staff thank you so much for a great service, great good and an excellent atmosphere. Mum had a lovely lunch, as usual it would seem, and my wife and I have a completely different outlook on Ting Ting.If you want great food in a really complimentary environment make Ting Tong your choice.Thanks again Mark
