I was very excited to come here with my husband for our 10th anniversary after seeing the pizzas on Instagram! We arrived and immediately found our waiter to be less than inexperienced. He clarified on 2 different occasions I ordered a Coke Zero. We ordered 2 pizzas and they came 18 minutes apart. I’ve never had to call the waiter for service so many times. Rosso Pomodoro is the best pizzeria in Sydney in my opinion. My family and I have been dining there since 2006 and we are never disappointed. The pizza crust is thin and the toppings are always fresh and authentic Italian ingredients. They do not offer ham and pineapple or half-and-half options. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere and is now licensed, but you can also bring your own alcohol. The service is consistently fantastic, making it a perfect choice for a casual weeknight meal. #rossopomodoro
I visited this restaurant with my mother and sisters and we were seated at a table with a nice view outside. The service was exceptional and we all had a wonderful time. The Margherita pizza was delicious and could rival some of the best in Sydney. We also enjoyed the tasty bruschetta and lasagne. Additionally, the restaurant is BYO.
The sausage and potato pizza was excellent. The Capriciosa pizza was good. The Rosso Pomodoro salad was fantastic. The special rocket, pear, walnuts, and truffle cheese was delicious. The service was fantastic and friendly, and the atmosphere was nice and cozy.
Started out with the Antipasto Della Casa, and it had a wonderful selection of cured meats, cheeses, bread sticks, and fresh olives. The highlight of the dinner was the Tartufo Pizza, and it had more than a generous serving of truffles. Hopefully it will make its way on to their permanent menu, as this was on the specials board. Excellent authentic Italian food.
Really good pizza here! Thin base and puffy crusts, they also have vegan options. I ordered the vegetarian pizza which was yum, I think I would probably get a spicy/salami option next time.
