Contribute Feedback What Vaughn Welch doesn't like about Binky Co:
It is a gorgeous place and the High Tea looked amazing. However I had the vegetarian big breakfast and it was very ordinary to look at and about 50% over-priced compared to similar breakfasts in Inner West cafés. I'd come back for the high tea for a special occasion, but would definitely not pay $27 for the normal breakfast again. I was expecting it to be huge and fancy for that price, but it certainly wasn't either. View all feedback.
I have visited this restaurant a few times before, but today's experience was particularly disappointing, mostly due to the service. No server came to take our order, and it took a long time for our food to arrive. Furthermore, our meals arrived 10 minutes apart, making it difficult for us to enjoy our meal together. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the staff, they did not seem to apologize sincerely. This experience is different from my past visits, and it is unlikely that I will return in the future.
The hollandaise sauce on the eggs benedict served in a cast iron skillet seemed a bit excessive for $14. The portion size of the mini sandwich was small, which was disappointing. However, the French toast was tasty.
Small space to the breakfast. the menu was quite extensive and the service was professional. some of the drinks are overpriced and the portion sizes are smaller than expected
Chorizo patter as good as oma house made style, but it is delicious.
We ordered drinks and were told that no juice or no cocktails available. Just tea or water. We ordered chicken salad but was told no chicken.
