My friends and I traveled from Dublin for the bank holiday, and we found this chip shop to be superior to most in Dublin. I highly recommend trying the fish and chips with salad. View all feedback.
What sean m doesn't like about Filling Station Takeaway:
We dined at this restaurant during a visit to Ballyshannon. The food was decent, but the seating area felt outdated, like something from the 1950s. It was located upstairs, noisy, and the seats were not very comfortable. View all feedback.
This small restaurant is going to be one of the only places open if you want to eat early in the off season. We had a couple of other stops in mind, but closed on Monday... so we stopped in for fish and chips at the filling station. Excellent service, had the upstairs to ourselves since much of the business was take away. Fish was good, chips good, onion rings excellent, and the price was low. Service was excellent and friendly. Not your fancy dinner night out candle light experience, but not paying for or expecting that either.
My family and I went for a luxury dinner in this takeaway/sit in restaurant we truly enjoyed our food it was presented amazing and the staff are incredible
We enjoyed a fish supper here, ate in the room upstairs and the fish was fab, not so keen on the chips which seemed a bit hard and too uniformly made but the staff were friendly and the radio was not too loud! Could have had pan fried pork chops, might try them next time!
Consistent takeaway, you get what you a lot of value for your money here. My only complaint is that the food isn 't as fresh as I 'd like it it be but overall great place!
I enjoyed a very nice meal from this takeaway a few days back, excellent fish n chips. Fresh fish and reasonably priced too!
