A long-standing local favourite, this family-run Chinese spot serves generous, affordable classics—Salted Chili Chicken, spring rolls and hearty curries—in a warm, welcoming setting. Dine-in and takeaway are both popular, with clearly labelled vegetarian options and free parking. Friendly staff and good value keep regulars coming, though busy nights can bring longer waits and occasional inconsistency in temperature and quality. Overall: tasty, homely food best suited to families, budget diners and regulars seeking dependable Chinese comfort food.

Best chinese in ballynahinch hard to beat the chicken curry 9 times out of 10 order is always right but if it isn't they always do best to rectify it. Only downside if ordering at the weekends is the wait on the delivery but worth it when you get the food. Staff are friendly and everyone loves stevie and Joanne View all feedback.
What Jimmy Boyd dislikes about Foo Kwai:
Got food on Friday 8th September and have to say this place used to be the go to Chinese now it's the one not to go to I have had food from it two Friday nights previous and just thought it was a bad night so gave it the benefit of the doubt but Friday passed was the final straw will not be back until someone tells me it's picked up. It used to take an age to get through to on the phone but now it's no problem seems... View all feedback.
The Chinese food here is delicious! While there can be occasional mistakes, the staff really strive to make it right for you. The Chicken Curry is unbeatable. Although delivery may take a bit longer because of the high volume of orders, the food remains flavorful. Dining in is just as enjoyable as takeout. Plus, the prices are very reasonable.

Today is June 21, 2020—Father's Day and my 16th wedding anniversary. My wife was in the mood for Chinese food, so we decided to visit Foo-Kwai. When I got home and lifted the paper bag out of the plastic, the handle broke right away. I called the restaurant to explain what had happened, and they simply asked what needed to be replaced—no questions asked. I was so impressed that I felt compelled to jump online and give them the 5-star review they truly deserve. Thank you, Foo-Kwai!
