We were seated behind a plant with a view into the kitchen and the back room which wasn’t the most pleasant. We had to wait on someone to come down to us for a drinks order and asked for water along with them, we had to follow up on asking for water a further 3 times. The cocktails we got didn’t seem to have much alcohol or flavour an expensive soft drink really. Eventually our water came and we ordered our food a strange appetiser of tuna mayo and breadsticks came. Service was extremely slow and the restaurant wasn’t that busy. There were plenty of staff but they seemed to be running around aimlessly leaving one server trying to do everything. We could see them play fighting in the back room at one occasion as we waited on attention. Food was underwhelming and would not recommend unless it’s the only option left.

Shown to a table at a fire exit, where the cold air was blowing through in an already freezing restaurant. The fact that there were only a few other tables occupied, did not make sense. I did ask to b moved as my elderly mother couldn 't bear the cold,which was not a problem to a pleasant waiter. We were moved up beside the kitchen,beside a radiator, which was turned off. Service was slow and disorganised,again in a barely occupied place. Food was a disgrace ,only exception was the pesto and tapenade.!The fact that a place like Galgorm cannot employ a pizza chef in their so called 'italian ' restaurant says it all. Pre made pizzas barely cooked, absolutely rubbish. A family evening out was a complete disappointment and a complete waste of £200+. Sitting beside the kitchen made interesting viewing, especially for my brother,home from london, who works in restauarant business,food sitting for ages then just thrown back in fryer just one observation. The fact that we had to wait so long for food,the only reason we noticed these things! Long winded,sorry, but so angry and annoyed at an absolute sham , in a nutshell.
