Jack's At The Ballyliffin Lodge

Even though we were not staying at the hotel, we decided to have dinner there. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. There were six of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The dining room is lovely and overlooks the gardens at the front. I highly recommend dining here.

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Laurel and their team for their hard work and dedication on Thursday. From the moment we first started planning our event two years ago until the actual day, they went above and beyond to ensure everything was just perfect. Despite the bad weather in the morning, the staff made sure the umbrellas were ready upon arrival. They took care of every detail flawlessly, allowing our guests to enjoy the beautiful ceremony and reception that were decorated exactly as we had envisioned. The main course of beef, turkey, and ham was simply delicious, and the desserts were both tasty and beautifully presented. The kitchen staff did an amazing job. The bar staff were friendly and attentive, and the evening buffet was exceptional. Our guests raved about the location, the staff, and the delicious food. The grounds were stunning and well-maintained, making our day truly perfect from beginning to end. If you're looking for a perfect venue for your special day, look no further than Laurel. Honestly, I had higher expectations for this restaurant. The staff was friendly, but during our meal in the garden area, my daughter cut her finger on scattered glass pieces. The food was average, with limited options for those with allergies. The starter was good, but the soup I ordered contained milk, which had to be replaced. Though there was a children's menu, there were a few mishaps with the dessert – initially, it had milk, then ice cream was mistakenly added. However, the staff were understanding and accommodating. Overall, there were too many mistakes for me to fully enjoy my experience. The glass incident in the garden area was concerning, as it seemed that no action was taken to properly clean it up. Parents should be cautious when dining in that area.

My partner booked a stay for a night and it was amazing. the staff went beyond and beyond. so friendly and helpful. 10/10. the room was so spacious and the bed was so comfortable. when we came to the room, the hotel left me a birthday card and some chocolates that were amazing. then at dinner was eating from this world, the best steakfilet I had ever cooked for perfection. the personal sang happy birthday when my dessert lit with a candle on it. breakfast in winter garden with a view of the amazing view I can hardly expect to return in the mai 2022!

Just popped in for a quick lunch today. Seafood chowder was lovely and the staff in the bar were really nice too. Will be back
