Was Anonym at Duggan's a mag?
I’d gladly drive all the way to Duggan’s in Ballydehob just for their Fish Burger—that’s how exceptional it is. Nothing compares! The onion rings are fantastic, and their beef burgers, including the half-pounder, are pretty impressive as well. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Duggan's:
A staff member at Duggan's rudely asked us to move our small van, claiming it was blocking the business, even though there were no yellow lines on the road. We moved the van and chose to eat instead at Ballybia across the street, where the food was excellent and the staff were very welcoming. View all feedback.

Had the fish burger, chips, and battered sausage from Duggan's—absolutely fantastic and definitely worth the wait!

We drive all the way from Cork just to eat at Duggan's! Her fish burger is incredible—super fresh fish and absolutely delicious. It’s a family-run business with consistently wonderful service.

The restaurant was never open, and a rude woman answered the phone, saying this wasn’t the correct number.

What can I tell you about this place that the walls won't tell. This restaurant is an epitome of the struggles, highs and lows of a family business who have paved their way to make it. I had chips, battered sausage and a home made chicken fillet burger. Sensible choices i should say. While my friends made their own options (not entirely wise :D). I found the prices really competitive and economical and a better burger than Ballybia. The service was exceptional and is cut from a different cloth that you don't find in our generation. Sure it isn't a high dine and it might take a while on a mental weekend but that was never the expectation either. The stories that we got to hear and your warmth truly left us a lasting impression. One thing I say is money can't buy history, culture or tradition and this place checks all three. Thank you for feeding us and your tips on getting a stain removed from a white top. We'll definitely stop by the next time we're in Ballydehog. Much love Ashley, John, Sachita, Brina

Our visit to Duggan's was certainly memorable. We were served by a somewhat grumpy woman, and while waiting for our meals, she and a colleague got into a pretty intense argument. The man seemed friendly, even smiling at us when we made eye contact. We couldn’t help but laugh quietly, wondering whether the food would be excellent or terrible. Sadly, it was the latter. The chips were frozen, low quality, and undercooked—they clearly needed a second frying. The fish was awful, with an overpowering fishy flavor, which is never a good sign. The chicken fillet burger was dry and bland.
