The Brew - Ballyboghil

This restaurant is a good quick stop for cyclists passing through the village. They have a secure bike rack monitored by CCTV and a convenient outdoor dining area. I enjoyed a nice cup of tea and slice of cake. However, the toilets were in need of attention and were pretty dirty during my visit. It would be an easy fix to add a mirror in the restroom. Overall, it's okay for a quick drink but I would hesitate to eat there again due to the poor condition of the toilets.

I returned to this restaurant after three years of being a regular in the past. I was completely disappointed by what now seems to be the Ryanair of cafes. This is not at all a "bistro"! When we requested a small glass of tap water with our coffee, which would typically be served automatically in a bistro, we were told "we don't normally do that, but you can buy a large bottle of water." Oh la la, really?

If I could I wouldn’t even give one star. Every single time I go into this awful coffee shop there is absolutely no pleasantness to be found. You are ignored by the staff and made feel that you are putting the staff out.There is absolutely no warm reception. Many times I have stopped myself from leaving a review but once again this morning I left that coffee shop feeling horrible. The staff are so unhappy and miserable. I rang this morning to see if I could speak to a manager and while speaking to the supposed manager, she got cheeky with me and hung up. Absolutely unacceptable behavior. The owner Yung needs to set an example by being pleasant and retraining her staff. Hopefully this can be improved.

I love this busy little place. I meet friends there and I go with family some Saturdays or Sundays for brunch. The food is fresh and tasty. It never fails to sadisfy all of us. They also do takeaway which can be very handy . The outside space is a great asset when the weather is fine. Its also a very pretty building. Mary

Visited with my mam and daughter and ordered 2 coffees. When I asked for a glass of water was told due to water charges I couldn't get tap water but could buy a bottle of water. The frieldly waiter said of someone was coughing and needed water they were allowed to give it. Lovely staff but management seem small minded they lost our future business.
