Panera Bread - Ballwin
Panera Bread
Description
Panera Bread has garnered mixed feedback, reflecting a decline in customer experiences despite its appealing ambiance. While the menu features a satisfying selection of sandwiches, soups, and beverages, many patrons noted a drop in food quality, particularly with watery soups and reduced portion sizes juxtaposed against rising prices. Service varies; some guests praised friendly staff and quick service, while others expressed frustration over order inaccuracies and inadequate cleanliness. Though the atmosphere is designed for relaxation or productive work, improved attention to detail in service and hygiene is essential for this location to meet customer expectations consistently.

This restaurant experience was terrible. We placed a to-go order at 7:50pm, which was over an hour before closing time. However, they had already started putting everything away and told us they couldn't make my Bravo sandwich hot. This was disappointing as I always have it hot. They only had two soups left and seemed confused when we asked for chips. I was unimpressed and will not be returning. Since the pandemic, Panera Bread (formerly known as STL Bread Co) has severely declined in quality. I have no intention of going back.
I joined the 'sip club ' and utilize it frequently. The coffee is above average. They have several locations in the area which is handy for both meetings and as a landing place between meetings. It 's always clean, and the internet is reliable. The people are friendly and refreshingly normal.
We hax delicious breakfest fare, and no one worries if you take your yime visiting. A very special morning for Gram and her Granddaughter!
I officially will not go back to this location. I thought I would give it a 3rd try, but still couldn’t put the chicken on my salad that I paid for. So frustrating!! The employees look at you like you’re in the wrong, but the ticket reads Greek salad with chx! They are rude and it always takes 20 minutes for a salad and bowl of soup. It’s only a 5 minute drive, but I much rather drive the extra time to go to the one in Town and Country. Terrible service. I ordered bread, just bread. Waited about 5 minutes, still no bread. So I go up to the counter and I’m like “I ordered bread,” then they told me that someone must’ve taken my order. I look around the entire restaurant. There’s just one other person there, eating a salad with a bag of chips (not bread). They give me the bread. I go home, then there’s a hair in the bread lol literally terrible. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
