Here at Fish I really felt like I paid for high-quality products. The fried fish had a light and crispy layer of dough, and the grilled had beautiful layered aromas. The chips were also beautiful and thick, but still crispy and fresh. It's more on the expensive side compared to places like Ocean Basket, but I think it was good value. View all feedback.
What Francesca Beattie doesn't like about Julio's Umhlanga:
My partner and I dined at this restaurant last night, ordering hake and chips. Unfortunately, we both ended up being sick and spending the night in the hotel's bathroom. We rated the food a 1, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 2. View all feedback.
Having been driving a few times in this place and it was often overlooked, it finally tried for a recommendation from a friend. This hidden jewel unleashed a stone's throw from the main area of the umshlanga beachfront, proved to be a real winner. The food was fresh and delicious, serving was generous. The service was also very good. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal by the sea. The prices were also reasonable.
The best restaurant in umhlanga for fresh seafood, atmosphere and value for money
Nice little restaurant, my kingklip meal with added prawns and spicy sauce was outstanding. The waitress could have been a bit friendlier though, her tip would have been better if she was. It is an expensive restaurant though, so be prepared.
Great little place. Honest to what they know best. Not trying to serve thousands of guests they keep it real. Lovely atmosphere and good staff service.
Fantastic little restaurant, one of umhlanga's hidden gems. Great staff as well! You can choose from set menu items or choose from a Fresh selection of fish for the day which will be charged according to weight. Great concept.Overall superb experience and looking forward to going back. Great seafood!!
