Oscar's Hotel and Cafe Bar - Ballarat

Had dinner in the atrium room. Was lovely and the food was amazing better than average pub meal with a great range on the menu. Staff were very good!

Great food, friendly staff and lovely modern rooms to stay in. It’s always a pleasure to stay here at Oscar’s.

Nearby access to the high rise car park is handy when the majority of carparks in Ballarat central are meter or max 2 hour parking. First it was warm which is a bonus on a cold Ballarat day. We were in the garden room for a birthday celebration and there was a good selection of drinks on offer. The venue was big enough for quite a crowd and the food offerings were great. The squid may have been a bit hard to handle but was well worth it and the satay chicken sticks were another winner. I was full by the time the pizzas arrived. Friendly and attentive service made for a great birthday celebration. Based on what we ate i would be happy to dine here next time we are in town.

Real nice experience, very welcoming and generally great service. Quite a few young servers, which is great to see businesses giving the opportunity to younger folks, but a few could do with a tad more guidance/training. Meals were great, we really enjoyed.

During our annual trip to Ballarat, I have always been eager to dine at this restaurant. Tonight, I finally had the opportunity to do so and I was not disappointed. The meal was amazing, especially the Eye Fillet steak which was cooked to perfection (which is quite rare). The service was excellent, despite the busy night. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.
