The food was absolutely delicious, earning a perfect score of five stars. The service was equally impressive, matching the quality of the meal. Overall, I highly recommend this place for dinner if you're looking for a fantastic meal at an affordable price!

It’s always a thick cut, cooked to perfection, and seasoned wonderfully, so you truly enjoy the flavor. When our waitress asks if I need steak sauce, I always respond that I hope I don’t need it. However, during our most recent visit, while the salad bar was still fantastic and the cheese sticks were outstanding, the steak didn’t meet our usual expectations. It was rather average this time, and I found myself needing steak sauce, which I’ve never had to do before. Additionally, it was a thinner piece of steak than we're used to. I hope this isn’t a new trend; given how "Bidenomics" has affected so much else, I certainly hope it doesn't impact Simmer Down in the same way. On a positive note, I want to highlight the staff, who are exceptional. They are always attentive and ensure you have everything you need. There is a particular woman, a lovely black lady with the most vibrant personality, who we always try to sit with when we visit. Overall, our experience this time was a mixed bag: - Food: 4 - Service: 5 - Atmosphere: 5 - Meal Type: Dinner - Price per person: $30–50

I ordered the rib eye sandwich, dresse... read more I wasn’t impressed to say the least. Our waitress was very nice and had a beautiful smile. The only smile I saw, in fact. I ordered the rib eye sandwich, dressed, with fries. When it finally came out the sandwich was bare. No trimmings at all. I asked for it to be taken back and dressed and instead was brought the trimmings to the table. There was three in our party, with no offer of drink refills or anything. The food was decent once we got all of it, but for a total of $66 it just wasn’t what we expected.
